The world of classical music is so vast there is no need to suggest topics. We are looking for original projects connected to classical music: so a long interview with a composer in his/her studio or to a luthier in his/her workshop can become a new element to divulge contemporary music or the history of the violin.

Diesis would like to include documentary films because they represent audiovisual works where narrative and expressive elements are a part of reality; because the story being told, the places where it is set, and its characters are real or have existed in the past, and act in a present or past dimension of reality.
To promote the artistic and intellectual growth of people by encouraging the popularization of the concept of the importance of classical music.
If it is true that, as Leonardo wrote, great love is the child of great knowledge (brought about by art!), then those representing the world and mankind through music, figurative arts and words, “survive” or “live the longest”.

Because we believe, as do artists, be they videomakers or music professionals, that curiosity is the driving force fuelling our passion for learning, creating, understanding and exploring.
Thus the idea of not stopping at live music but going further with documentary films, multidisciplinary videos, informative videoclips, extended interviews, video-booklets…
Because we believe anything may spark the public’s curiosity and delicately take it by the hand with a simple language, to guide it through the amazing world of classical music, to help people explore new worlds, entertaining, enlightening and inspiring them.
